THE HISTORY

Situated in the northwest of the country on the Vltava River, Prague is the capital and the largest city of the Czech Republic. This magical city of bridges, cathedrals, gold-tipped towers and church spires is also the fourteenth largest city in the European Union. Since the Middle Ages Prague has cherished the reputation of one of the most beautiful cities in the world as well as the political, cultural, and economic center of central Europe.

Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad. Since 1992, the extensive historic center of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

OUR GUIDES

Our photo guides love photography and it shows in their passion and enthusiasm as they convey this to our clients.  Each photo guide is a local to Prague and a professional photographer.  They each know the city very well and speak perfect English.  They not only help in the artistic process of creating images, but they’ll talk about the latest gear, software, what’s happening in the industry and of course, rave about Prague.

Our goal is to ensure the time you spend with Prague Photo Tours is not only memorable, but you capture images that will last a life time.
